Welcome to the Living Lab, a lab within the MIT Media Lab’s Personal Robots group where we conduct research utilizing robots.

ONGOING STUDIES

AI Education Study

This study hopes to educate and expose children to robots and AI at a young age. Over the course of 2 months, fourth and fifth graders get to learn about and use a robot in their homes and participate in a highly interactive 6-week online course on robots.

Early Literacy Study

Our team at MIT paired with Georgia State University to conduct research on social robots and literacy. In our project, we develop new learning games focused on improving children’s vocabulary and early literacy skills.
